It’s time to collect Lingonberries!

Last week at our cottage we collected some lignonberries, Finnish superfood.

There were so much berries in the forest, that it took only one hour to collect ten liters of them (with two little helpers).

Even though we tried our best to collect them all, we had to soon give up and left billions and billions of berries to remain in the forest.

In order to collect more of these berries, Finnish companies hire every year seasonal workers from foreign countries. This year most of them came from Thailand.
